Eccentric Bushing for Cone Crusher
High-lead bronze eccentric bushing for cone crusher drive system.
View DetailsPart Name: Mantle
OEM Ref: MM0542955 · MM0566674
Heavy-duty Metso GP220/GP220S Mantle cast in premium Mn18Cr2 manganese (Mn22Cr2/TiC mandatory for pebble/abrasive stone). Optimized steep cavity geometry for 160kW constant-stroke efficiency, massive reinforced anti-flaring heel for CSS stability, and micron-tolerance spherical seat for head cone protection. Matched profiles (C, M, F, EF) for high reduction & cubical shape in heavy aggregates & mining.

Engineered for the Metso GP220™ / GP220S™ cone crusher—the high-capacity, constant-stroke flagship for heavy-duty secondary and tertiary crushing in major aggregates quarries (rail ballast, high-spec concrete aggregate, manufactured sand) and mining (SAG pebble crushing/SABC circuits, ore preparation)—the GP220 Mantle (Head Liner) is the primary wear component driving the GP Series’ industry-leading “Steep Cavity + Constant Long Stroke” kinematics at 160 kW. Unlike pivot-point designs (HP/MP), the GP220 Mantle gyrates with a fixed, long stroke at a steep head angle. This demands a massive, precision-balanced casting with a heavily reinforced anti-flaring lower heel/skirt to resist the extreme centrifugal forces generated at speed, locking in the Closed Side Setting (CSS) stability required for consistent high reduction ratios (up to 6:1–8:1) and superior cubical product shape under maximum throughput (500–650+ mtph).
Cast from premium high-manganese steel (Mn18Cr2 standard; Mn22Cr2/TiC ceramic-reinforced MANDATORY for pebble crushing & high-silica abrasives), the GP220 Mantle features a deep, high-mass profile with an extra-thick lower heel section specifically designed to combat “bell-mouthing” (radial growth) inherent to long-stroke, high-inertia operation. The precision-machined spherical seat, hydraulic lock nut thread (M100/M110 class), and backing groove are held to micron tolerances. This guarantees 360° intimate contact with the massive crusher head cone, eliminating the micro-movement that causes catastrophic head cone fretting fatigue—a 80k+ USD capital asset risk. The cavity profiles (C, M, F, EF) are geometrically locked to the GP220 Bowl Liner to preserve the steep crushing angle and interparticle compression efficiency deep into wear life.
