Cast in high-manganese steel (Mn18Cr2 standard; Mn22Cr2/TiC composite optional), the HP3 Bowl Liner features a heavy-flange design with CNC-machined adjustment ring seating surfaces and locking wedge/bolt pockets. This ensures a zero-gap seal against the adjustment ring, preventing fines migration (“wash-out”) that destroys the frame seating—a critical risk on mobile units subjected to chassis flex during transport. The optimized cavity profiles (EC, C, M, F, EF) are geometrically matched to the HP3 Mantle to preserve the aggressive nip angle and parallel zone length, ensuring high reduction ratios and superior cubicity (low flakiness index) essential for asphalt and concrete specs.
