The precision-machined upper flange seating surface and hydraulic clamp ring interface (GP550/GP550S utilize the Hydraulic Clamp Ring design as standard—no mechanical wedge legacy variant exists for GP550) are held to the tightest OEM tolerances. This ensures a hermetic 360° seal against the massive adjustment ring, eliminating the fines migration (“wash-out”) that rapidly destroys the adjustment ring threads (100k-150k+ USD) and main frame seating surface. The revised cavity profiles are CNC-verified to synchronize perfectly with the GP550 Mantle, preserving the steep head angle and long parallel zone deep into wear life for superior interparticle crushing efficiency.
